Fresh Sweep Expert (ABN 99 681 708 878) — "we", "us" and "our" — respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: your name, phone number and email address.
• Property details: the address or suburb, property type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, whether you have pets, the extras you choose, and any notes you add.
• Booking details: your preferred date and time, the estimate you were shown, and the date and time you agreed to our terms.
• Messages: anything you send us by phone, SMS, email or social media.

Information collected automatically

• the pages you visit and the page you booked from;
• the website, advertisement or link that brought you to us, including campaign tags and advertising click identifiers;
• your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop);
• your approximate location — city, region and postcode — worked out from your IP address;
• a scrambled, non-reversible code created from your IP address and browser details, which lets us count visitors without identifying them.

You do not have to give us your details, but we cannot prepare a quote or carry out a clean without a way to contact you and a description of the property.

2. How we use your information

• To prepare your quote, confirm your booking and send our team to the right place.
• To contact you about your quote or booking.
• To take payments and to handle guarantee claims and complaints.
• To protect our website from spam and misuse.
• To understand which pages and advertisements work, so that we can improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies, analytics and advertising

• Our own visitor statistics do not use cookies. We count page views without storing an identifier on your device.
• Page version cookie: on some pages we set a small cookie, kept for 30 days, that remembers which version of the page you saw so that it stays the same on your next visit.
• Browser storage: your browser temporarily remembers your progress through the quote form and the link that brought you to us. This is cleared when you close the tab.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: we use these to measure visits and the results of our advertising. When you submit a booking, we may send Google a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address or phone number so that the booking can be matched to an advertisement.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel: we use this to measure the results of our advertising on Meta's platforms.
• Cloudflare: we use Cloudflare to protect our forms from automated spam.

These companies may set their own cookies and handle information under their own privacy policies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, manage Google advertising at adssettings.google.com, and manage Meta advertising in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, and only with:

• the cleaners and contractors carrying out your job;
• the companies that host our website and deliver our email;
• Google, Meta and Cloudflare, as described above;
• our accountants, insurers and legal advisers;
• government bodies and courts, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to choose providers that protect personal information.

5. How long we keep it and how we protect it

• Your information is stored on secured servers, and only staff who need it can access it.
• Website visit data is deleted after 90 days.
• Booking and customer records are kept for as long as we need them for your job, for guarantee claims, and to meet our tax and legal obligations. After that they are deleted or de-identified.

No website or email service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

6. Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we must keep some records by law.

If we send you promotional messages, you can ask us to stop at any time.
